i want to ride my twenty-dollar salvation army bicycle but i have no idea if it's even safe. i gave it a test ride but i don't know so much about 1970s gear shifting & stuff. ithaca also has too many sharp hills & i am terribly afraid of falling backwards to my death on stewart avenue. but i'm going to try as hard as i can to get used to inclines because i really want to bike more places.

last night was pretty fun. free grey goose & stevesara is bad at cranium. new people in the house to visit & i created a small studio in the extra basement room that smells like pee so that i can do oil painting again. there is no ventilation but my turpentine is fake so hopefully i won't pass out down there. hehe.

Off topic but had to share...
I love your icon, I know (have met briefly) the artist who took the pic... He used to teach at SUNY Purchase and had a show there last year with that image on display. Of course I suck at names... but you can probably get his books at the Neuberger Museum at SUNY Purchase.

If you don't already have one anyhow. Or if you haven't already been to the show yourself.
